The owls are not what they seem Anonymous 10/11/2019 (Fri) 11:09:55 [Preview] No. 14760
Most of the research has been copyed from various sources, so nothing here is original.

Let's start with Twin Peaks and the quote of owls are not what they seem. Owls seem to be present when some shit is going down. Bob had a face of an owl in one episode. This could mean maybe entities like Bob may take possession of owls. Or they're just the lodges servants/eyes on the ground. Though, it is said an entity can inhabit multiple bodies.

The Roman poet Pliny terms the bird “bubo funebris et maxime abominatus, (owl mournful and most abhorred).”
Virgil describes its death-howl from the top of the temple by night, a circumstance introduced as a precursor of Dido’s death.

The Egyptian name for the owl is Mulak or Moloch represented by the letter symbolism of M (m) because its name began with M, and the eyes or horns of this secret deity looks just like the letter m.

M - 13th letter. 13s quite the number in numerology and occult.
Water associated with mem, the phonecian letter. If wikipedia isn't bullshitting me, then the egyptian hieroglyph associated with water and looks exactly like the floor patterns in twin peaks when in the other places.
So if the lodges operate in a different layer of the onion, presumably, the astral planes (lower astral), then the connections would make some sense.

A group of owls is called a parliament.

Nocturnal, darkness, hunters (nimrod), desolate location nesting (death), lonely (forsaken), features of man in face (demonic), bible has verses of them being unclean and abominable.

In far more than a few cases of alien abduction, witnesses – or victims – report something very strange, but which can be found all across the planet.
They have seen what they describe as a giant-sized owl staring at them. Then, there follows a typically weird and mysterious event, one in which the witness suddenly finds themselves aboard a UFO, and subjected to intrusive procedures.
For some ufologists, the most obvious explanation is that the owl is a screen-memory created by the aliens, as they seek to obscure and obfuscate what really happened to the abductee.

In medieval england 'owl' was an antisemitic slur.

The owl is associated with lilith. As owls are nocturnal birds, the Lilith connection might represent sinners who have given up living in the light and chosen the darkness of sin.

another avenue:

The Savile's were a noble family from Sainville, Normandy. They supported William the Conquerors conquest of England, as a reward for their support they were gifted land in and around Leeds, West Yorkhire.

The Savile's chose for the cities emblem to feature the owl prominently. This can be seen all over the city of Leeds today, in old statues and contemporary street art.

The owls are not what they seem-

“OWL: "Open-Wire Line." Commonly run along American roadsides for over 100 years, until more recently replaced by "dark fiber."

“Two arms, each carrying 10 lines.
And a phantom group... 15-16. (Carrie Page's house number.)”

It just hit me: Jupiter is the 5th planet and Saturn the 6th. When the two come together, the lodge opens. If Carrie is the golden orb, which does look like it's headed to Odessa in episode 8, then it's also fair to say we get 1516 when 5 and 6 come together.

In 2300 BC, the Sumerians depicted Lilitu, the goddess of death, as a winged woman with feet like an owl's, a crown similar to an owl's ear tuft, and two owls for companions. Her name is derived from an ancient word meaning "night."

The Jewish Tanakh (the Old Testament in Christianity) includes the Hebrew word lilith, which is translated as "screech owl." According to legend, Lilith was Adam's first wife. She refused to submit to Adam, so God replaced her with Eve.
