So you know: there needs to be a majority -218 aye votes- to pass a motion to adjourn the House. At noon either that motion will be put to a vote or there’ll be a vote on the Speaker. If the motion to adjourn fails there’ll then be a vote on the Speaker. They must renominate 1st.
