Journalist Ross Douthat became the youngest regular op-ed writer in the history of the New York Times, spoke about his career as a writer and his interests in journalism. He is a former senior editor for the Atlantic. He has also written for the Weekly Standard, Slate, and the Wall Street Journal. He has authored two books: Privilege: Harvard and the Education of the Ruling Class (2005) and was co-author of Grand New Party: How Republicans Can Win the Working Class and Save the American Dream (2008).
