Former Top Adviser to Dr. Anthony Fauci Testifies on COVID-19 Origins
Dr. David Morens, a former top adviser to former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Dr. Anthony Fauci, faced bipartisan criticism and anger from lawmakers during a House Oversight and Accountability Select Subcommittee hearing. Dr. Morens was accused of deleting emails related to the origins of COVID-19, and the subcommittee was investigating the allegations. Republicans and Democrats pressed Dr. Morens on his usage of his government and private email accounts interchangeably, deleting official federal records, and certain email exchanges with Dr. Peter Daszak, president of EcoHealth Alliance. EcoHealth, once federally funded, had been linked to sending money to the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China. This Chinese research facility was at the center of speculation regarding the origins of COVID-19, and how the virus spread globally leading to a pandemic.

Secretary of State Blinken Testifies Before House Committee Part 1
Secretary of State Antony Blinken appeared before the House Foreign Relations Committee to discuss his department's fiscal year 2025 budget request, U.S. diplomacy and global challenges. U.S. diplomatic policy towards Ukraine, Israel, Haiti, and Afghanistan were among the many topics discussed. When asked if he can categorically say that Israeli authorities are not restricting humanitarian aid to Gaza, Secretary Blinken was interrupted by pro-Palestinian protesters who called him a "butcher" as he tried to answer the question.
