Secretary Kennedy @SecKennedy - Thank you, @SecRollins, for your bold leadership and commitment to public health. Cutting soda and energy drinks from SNAP is a historic step toward nutrition-focused policy. I’m excited to see Nebraska, Indiana, and Iowa receive first-of-their-kind waivers to enact this change. The Federal Government is working with the states to Make America Healthy Again.

This program was created to build pathways to a better life for struggling young adults, but our review shows it's not anywhere close to achieving the outcomes they deserve.
Despite the annual cost per student averaging $20,000 more than one year of tuition at Harvard, the program's average graduation rate is only 38.6%, and those that leave the program make only around $16,000 on average.
As we move forward, our immediate priority is to protect and support every student throughout this transition. By collaborating with state and local workforce partners, we're working hard to connect participants with helpful resources so they can advance their training and find new opportunities to build a brighter future.
We will continue to evaluate better workforce development options for young Americans, and we remain committed to delivering meaningful results for both students and taxpayers.
