An unoccupied, marked NYPD van was set on fire around 8:11 a.m. on Union Avenue in Williamsburg. The blaze damaged the rear passenger side of the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
The incident comes days after a separate arson in Bushwick, where multiple NYPD vehicles were torched and fire starter devices were found.
