Having launched nearly 6 hours prior to the supporting Halo aircraft, a McChord based C-17, (04-4129 as Arris-36), currently detailed to the 418th FLTS squadron at Edwards, dropped a likely MRBM type target ~2,000 miles+ West of Hawaii.
MDA High Altitude Observatory G550 gulfstreams Halo-52 and Halo -53 were in position to track the missile flight and any intercept attempt. I have not been able to tie this test to a closure or published test event at this point. Hopefully we will see something from MDA in the next few days. Updates as I new information becomes available.

MeNMyRC @MeNMyRC1 - One possible event is FTM-30. FTM-30 is a Developmental/Operational intercept test with an Aegis SM-3 Blk IIA missile using Baseline 9.2 software. This test was expected later this year but could be taking place a bit early.

Their sponsors will flee.
Some are already on the ropes.
Their desperation is evident.
