By that logic, the mere existence of unstable nations is an urgent threat. No amount of foreign aid or military intervention is considered excessive if it contributes to stabilizing those countries. So we accept hundreds of thousands of refugees and flood Honduras with aid, and ignore Hurricane Helene victims.
This definition also implicitly reclassifies anyone opposed to that foreign aid agenda as a threat to national security. This means MAGA supporters are enemies of democracy itself.
Never forget - our last American President called 74 million Trump supporters a threat to the Republic.
