Camarillo Immigration Raid Recap: July 10, 2025
On July 10, 2025, a large-scale immigration enforcement operation took place at Glass House Farms, a licensed cannabis greenhouse facility at 645 Laguna Road in Camarillo, leading to significant clashes between federal agents and protesters. The raid, conducted by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agents and National Guard personnel, was executed under a criminal judicial search warrant signed by a federal judge, based on evidence that Glass House Farms was employing undocumented workers in a large-scale illegal hiring scheme. This illegal hiring included unaccompanied minor children
The operation began around 11 a.m., with federal agents in tactical gear and armored vehicles blocking off Laguna and Las Posas Roads. Aerial footage showed agents forming a line across the street, detaining numerous workers, with estimates suggesting hundreds were taken into custody. Detainees were seen sitting under a semitrailer or loaded into unmarked gray vans for transport to an unknown location. Glass House Farms confirmed compliance with the federal warrant. A simultaneous raid occurred at the company’s Carpinteria facility, with similar confrontations reported.
