U.S. Coast Guard @USCG - As America’s maritime first responder, the U.S. Coast Guard is always ready to respond to crises or contingencies that may come with little or no warning.
Last weekend, Coast Guard members continued that legacy, responding to the tragic floods in central Texas and assisting more than 200 people on the ground. Today, a Coast Guard aircrew was recognized by @POTUS and @Sec_Noem .
We extend our sympathies to the victims and families impacted by last week’s catastrophic flooding, and continue to stand with the people of Texas.
