After watching the discussion between Owens and Fuentes, I took two online IQ tests over the weekend. I had never taken one as far as I remember. Maybe we took them in grade school. I don’t remember. One of the tests was pattern recognition and the other was a series of 35 questions. I scored 109 on both. I would’ve scored higher on the 35-question test but I took too long answering the questions when I got distracted responding to text messages. Whatever, two distinctly different tests, and they both concluded my IQ is slightly above average for an American man.
I took the tests because I wanted to understand how IQs are calculated. I believe the questions are fair and race neutral. According to studies, the average IQ of a white American is 100 and 85 for a black American. I don’t point to skin color to explain the gap. Nor do I deny the accuracy of the difference.
Exodus 4:11: “And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man’s mouth? Or who maketh the dumb or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind. Have not I the Lord?”
Even more importantly, I don’t see the elevation of IQ as central to the improvement of America or the world.
IQ and SAT scores are mostly irrelevant. They won’t be debated on judgement day. BELIEF and OBEDIENCE will be. A lack of belief and obedience plague our world today, particularly America. Man’s real competition is for holiness.
Ecclesiastes 12:13: “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.”
John 14:15: “If you love me, keep my commands.”
1 John 5:3: “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.”
The wisdom derived from the pursuit of holiness and obedience to God’s word trounces IQ. Geniuses build and deploy weapons of mass destruction. They invent pills that can be mailed to women to slaughter babies. They enforce social distancing and masking rules, prescribe medical trials to combat viruses leaked from their own labs.
Geniuses worship their own intellect and attempt to outsmart God. They eschew humility. They prove that intelligence that does not serve and submit to the pursuit of holiness fuels wickedness.
Nick Fuentes strikes me as highly intelligent. He misuses his gift.
I’d rather have the acumen of an Amish man pushing a plow than the brilliance of a scientist constructing code at NASA.
The folly of thinking a deficiency in IQ explains America’s fall into nihilism and immorality is the kind of insanity preached on Ivy League campuses amongst the secular elite. It ignores obvious truth:
The murderers at Planned Parenthood, the imbeciles brawling on Carnival Cruises, the feminists and sexual deviants redefining marriage/family, the gold-chain-wearing rappers making a mockery of music, the closeted billionaire pedophiles gatekeeping the doors of political power, and the fake ministers afraid to face worldly persecution… they all seek Satan’s rewards. Their IQs dot a spectrum that sinks as low as 40 and soars as high as 160.
Proverbs 1:7: “Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. But fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
Proverbs 9:10: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.”
