>>156717U.S. Coast Guard @USCG - Coast Guard Cutter (CGC) Storis’ historic voyage continues! Through the dedicated efforts of her crew, Storis arrived in Seattle earlier this week, having marked numerous milestones on its journey northward.
As the Nation’s third polar icebreaker, Storis was acquired to provide near-term operational presence, assure access to the polar regions to protect U.S. sovereignty, and support national security as a bridging strategy for Arctic presence. Embodying @USCG transformation through Force Design 2028, Storis will soon continue its transit to Juneau, Alaska for commissioning.
