Separately: Rockefeller, Carnegie, and Ford Foundations all also had very close ties to the CIA and "soft power" operations. John Dulles, the brother of infamous CIA Director Allen Dulles, served as chairman of Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and also founding member of CFR.
