Former President Trump Speaks at America First Policy Institute Summit
Former President Trump said it's "so unfair" to see what the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol is doing to people who did no enter the Capitol and "the way they are being tortured and handled so horribly," as he addressed the committee's investigation. His remarks came during his keynote address at the America First Policy Institute's summit in Washington, D.C. During his speech, he spoke of several topics, including immigration, inflation and energy prices, transgender athletes in women's sports, and the 2020 election. While urging for harsher penalties for drug offenses, the former president suggested the death penalty for drug dealers, saying, "you execute a drug dealer, and you'll save 500 lives."
