The Presidency: Remembering FDR 80 Years Later. Eighty years after his April 12, 1945, death, FDR was remembered at his presidential library in Hyde Park, New York. Historian David Woolner reflected on the outpouring of public grief and what it revealed about Franklin Roosevelt's place in the American story.
