President Trump is Escorted from News Conference
The Secret Service removed President Trump from the White House Briefing Room minutes after he began a coronavirus news conference. He returned nearly 10 minutes later, saying the Secret Service shot someone outside of the White House. According to President Trump, that person had been taken to the hospital.

2024 Democratic presidential nominee and Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN), campaigned at a rally in Las Vegas. Vice President Harris vowed to sign various legislation into law if elected president, including issues pertaining to immigration and border security, abortion rights, voting rights, and an assault weapons ban and gun safety. She said if her Republican opponent, former President Donald Trump, wanted to "pick a fight over our most fundamental freedoms, we say: bring it on!"
