Senator Blackburn and I have worked closely on tackling Memphis’ crime challenge, and I’ve been in the room when she has demanded answers from the FBI on what they’re doing to help us. There is more to be announced soon, and we should all be grateful for Senator Blackburn’s determination to #MakeMemphisMatter and to help us in Shelby County.
Can you imagine the additional help we will get to address crime when she’s governor?! I have a lot of hope for the future, and you should too. But we can’t let up. After all, we have a city to save!
