@ICEgov conducted a targeted enforcement operation to arrest Leonel Chavez-Trinidad, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico with FIVE prior removals. He was convicted in Connecticut for resisting arrest, fraud, and illegal operation of a motor vehicle under license.
During the arrest, Ricardo Chavez-Trinidad, an illegal alien from Mexico, opened the rear passenger door and attempted to flee law enforcement on foot and refused to follow law enforcement commands.
The officers took appropriate action and followed their training to use the minimum amount of force necessary to resolve the situation in a manner that ensures the success of the operation and prioritizes the safety of the public and our officers.
