He’s none other than the OG SpaceX engineer Bill Riley.
Bill joined SpaceX in 2010 during Falcon 9’s development, starting in structures engineering. Over the years he held multiple key positions, playing a major role in improving Falcon 9’s reliability.
In 2020 he was promoted to VP of Starship Engineering, where he now leads the engineering effort on Starship. He is one of the key people at the company.
