https://x.com/TerribleMaps/status/1965857816561987988Thomas Massie @RepThomasMassie - There’s been a lot of talk about AUTOPENS recently. Almost as soon as I received my congressional AUTOPEN many years ago, I realized it was a “workplace hazard,” so I put this warning-sign on it!

https://x.com/timburchett/status/1965734916316147772Tim Carney @TPCarney - One interesting thing is that the Dem donor class is at the extreme end on social issues, and so lib commentators who sense this (not Matt, but others), assume that GOP donor class is also on the extreme end on social issues. In fact, the GOP donor class tends (like the Dems') to be on the LEFT end of the party on social issues.

A lot of people who can see this dynamic very clearly in the specific case of Israel don't want to acknowledge that, in general, Democratic Party donors are very left-wing and on non-Israel issues their influence pulls the party to the left.
