Rothmus @Rothmus - It is no secret that Islamic extremists are fighting alongside Burhan’s forces in Sudan. So the possibility of Turkish-made weapons ending up in the hands of factions tied to the Muslim Brotherhood and other radical Islamists represents a credible regional security risk.
Instability in Sudan might destabilize vast territory extending from the Mediterranean to the Horn of Africa, given its strategic location on the Red Sea, effectively posing a long-term threat to European security, energy supply lines, and global trade routes.
So the European Union continues to call for an end to all external support that fuels the war in Sudan. And Turkey continues to insist it can play a role in promoting peace and stability while ironically funding a side in the conflict.
Conclusion: the EU is failing to address the threats on Europe.
