Woman Who Committed Murder at an Ohio National Park to Spend More Than 22 Years in Prison: Court documents show that in March 2021, Chelsea Perkins drove Matthew Dunmire to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park where they hiked past a cemetery, across deep ravines, and off-trail into a wooded area. While there, Perkins shot Dunmire in the back of the head, killing him. She then left the scene and drove to get a tattoo of a noose on her forearm.
