U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement @ICEgov - Gambian torturer Michael Sang Correa gets 67-years for crimes including burning victims' flesh with molten plastic and subjecting them to relentless, brutal beatings over the course of weeks, using a variety of savage weapons.
Correa served in an armed unit known as the “Junglers,” which reported to the Gambia’s former President Yahya Jammeh. As a Jungler, Correa personally tortured five victims based on suspicions they had plotted against Jammeh.
