I hear people say “we didn’t agree on everything, but, I respected him…”
But that’s what Charlie was all about. Freedom of speech. Freedom to debate and defend your views, respectfully.
We both had a desire for maximum freedom in this country.
We may not have agreed on how to get there always, but in the end we both had shifted opinions on different subjects because of the freedom to disagree and then debate.
Charlie started his political activism in the libertarian realm, reading Tom Woods, Rothbard, Hayek, Sowell, and Friedman. He found a home promoting his ideals within the GOP umbrella where strong borders are heavily promoted.
This was a major disagreement libertarians had with him, but in recent years, our position has changed. He plead his case, the results are in. His view was better… and we shifted. Some libertarians would still disagree. That’s ok.
Likewise, we were never fans of allowing Israel to hold political sway in America.
Not because we are anti-Israel. But because Foreign entanglements are heavily discouraged by the founding fathers. However, the GOP loves that AIPAC money.
Libertarians and others pleaded our case. The results are in… and Charlie was shifting in his final months.
There is no doubting the immense cultural impact Charlie Kirk had on the world. He did it fighting for his faith and for freedom in this country.
Charlie died wearing a T-shirt with the word “FREEDOM” on the front.
It meant a lot to him, as it does to us.
If you have ever paid attention to our logo, you’ll know why.
Because FREEDOM matters.
RIP Charlie Kirk ✝
