Rep. Mike Collins @RepMikeCollins - On this day in history in 1779, John Paul Jones commanded the U.S. ship Bonhomme Richard in a victory against British warships off the eastern coast of England during the American Revolution.
Jones led the Bonhomme Richard in an intense battle against the British warships. Despite heavy damage, he famously declared, โ€œ๐ˆ ๐ก๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐ง๐จ๐ญ ๐ฒ๐ž๐ญ ๐›๐ž๐ ๐ฎ๐ง ๐ญ๐จ ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญโ€ when one of the captains of the British ships asked if he was ready to surrender. After three hours, the British ships surrendered. The Bonhomme Richard sank the following day.

Rep. Nancy Mace @RepNancyMace - Cory Mills is now "blowing" me up over text. He even sent a photo saying he was injured in a blast showing blood on his pants.
The blood, however, is of another soldier who was actually blown up ("allegedly").
Cory Mills is highly regarded. And totally stolen valor.

Rep. Nancy Mace @RepNancyMace - That moment when you realize everything this guy claimed is a lie, and that he can't back any of it up. When you actually pay attention to the words he says, you realize:
1. His words donโ€™t make any sense
2. You previously werenโ€™t paying any attention at all to what he was actually saying
Because most of what he says isnโ€™t saying anything at all. Itโ€™s just a waterfall of words, pablum and doublespeak. No real paperwork to back any of it up either.

Rep. Nancy Mace @RepNancyMace - We sent a letter to Hertz CEO Gil West requesting a full briefing on their use of AI-powered vehicle scanners, which have reportedly billed customers hundreds of dollars for minor scuffs, without human review.
