Before Flynn interview, FBI counterintelligence head wrote a memo asking, “What is our goal? Truth/Admission or to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired?”
FBI records of convos are required to be filed within 5 days. They didn’t submit for 3 months.
Peter Strzok, later fired from the FBI in disgrace, was the interviewer. In text messages to his lover Lisa Page, he told her he was “trying not to completely re-write” the original record of Flynn’s interview.
Comey is trying to take credit here for something that reeks of corruption.
