Saint Ann's School covered up their hiring of convicted felon and child sexual predator Winston Nguyen because they didn't turn to "soil their reputation" or upset their A-List celebrity gravy train paying big bucks for their kids to attend the school.
In 2019, an article in The Cut reported that an investigation by a private law firm found six former Saint Ann's teachers engaged in sexual misconduct in the 1970s and 1990s. The article notes that the school's "freewheeling" culture from its early days likely contributed to the problem. An outside investigation commissioned by the school documented an uncorroborated report of inappropriate conduct by founder Stanley Bosworth but included the incident in their report. An alumna has also written about what she perceived as the school's poor handling of these and other scandals.
