AppPatriotgirl @jsmith4966 - Good morning patriots. My husband’s service yesterday was amazing. I can’t even put it into words. In 35 years of attendance, I have never seen our church so full. They were over 300 people there - people from every aspect of his life - family, school friends, church family, business associates, neighborhood friends and even a dear member of my X tribe. My kids and I were overwhelmed by the outpouring of love for Cory and for us. The family and friends who spoke during the service did an incredible job and so did our wonderful minister. I can’t imagine how it could’ve been any more perfect. What I thought was going to be a very hard day turned out to be so uplifting. It was truly a celebration of a life well lived. I know there will be hard days ahead, but the memory of this special day will help to carry me through.
I also want to thank each and every one of you who have taken the time to offer me messages of support over the last week. You’ll never know how much it means. Thank you.
