The National Lawyers Guild (NLG), best known for providing legal support to antifa, sent a 5-person team to "observe" Venezuela’s 2024 elections and signed off on Maduro's win, even as almost all other independent data pointed to deep fraud.
This wasn't their first rodeo. Back in 2008, one NLG observer flagged major problems with Smartmatic voting machines: even Hugo Chavez's father got a mismatched receipt. Yet the delegation still declared the process "fair and transparent." (Thanks to @SomeBitchIIKnow for pointing this out)
Fast forward to 2024: Maduro tightened rules to keep out neutral observers, making international scrutiny even harder.

Illinois is not a one-party consent state. Under 720 ILCS 5/14-2, secretly recording a private conversation without the consent of all parties is a felony.
By broadly urging people to "record what you see," you may also have triggered 720 ILCS 5/8-1. That statute makes it a crime to encourage others to commit a felony. Solicitation carries penalties tied to the underlying offense... meaning it, too, can be a felony.
