Reporter William J. Kelly #thatreporter @Williamjkelly - Last week Gov. Pritzker denied me access to his press conference — and millions of people saw the video and criticized his hypocrisy on freedom of the press.
Today he and Mayor Johnson dodged my tough questions and took every other reporter’s question except mine — because those reporters are on the “approved list.”
What are they so afraid of? Why are they so afraid to answer my questions? Because this wasn’t a press conference — it was a photo op.
In the course of an hour, more than 200 people posted questions on my socials that they wanted answered. All of those people were denied the opportunity to have their voices heard in favor of politically approved reporters.
Gov. Pritzker talks about President Trump but his actions show he thinks he is above the law and is willing to risk the lives of federal agents to prove it.
And earlier this morning Johnson said the right in this country want a civil war rematch.
