Congressional investigators gathered 30 million lines of phone data tracking contacts between conservatives and the Trump White House while probing the January 6 Capitol breach.
In late 2023, former Rep. Adam Kinzinger gave the FBI, led by Chris Wray, a large set of phone records.
These were offered as evidence without needing a warrant, just before the 2024 presidential election.
