"I was made aware that Russia did have a complete report on the assassination of Kennedy that, in the 90s, Congress had tried to obtain but failed to secure.
At that point, I picked up the phone and had my office arrange a meeting with the Russian ambassador.
To our surprise, but true to their word, they delivered a 380-page report, which we’ve now uploaded.
We currently have experts on the Kennedy assassination, both Democrat and Republican, working with translators to review the documents.
What’s serendipitous in timing is that Kennedy was actively involved in backchannel conversations with the then–Soviet president and didn’t want a nuclear arms exchange."
