Most of these monasteries are in fairly remote locations. Many of them are in the Bible Belt, where Catholicism is growing the fastest. These monasteries are inhabited with either monks or nuns. Many of them are using the old Latin liturgy and keeping all the old Catholic customs. Visitors are allowed, of course, and a special place is set aside for them to worship with the monks and nuns.
