I've been researching this subject for 8 years. Let's break this down.
Ken Dilanian, Carol Lee and co are the original Russiagate "journalists" who in fact execute black ops for various politicians and intel community operatives, in coordination with each other.
They have all come out in full force to try and stop the Grand Conspiracy prosecutions. Mortgage fraud is just the beginning, Adam Schiff is going down for much bigger things.
Grand Conspiracy starts with Russiagate and culminates in the Mar-o-Lago Raid and beyond. Via Mueller Witch Hunt and Fake Ukraine Impeachment to Biden Laptop etc.
In this case, the fake story (that Schiff is being unfairly prosecuted by the DoJ) originated with Ken Dilanian, a known CIA mouthpiece. So you know this is coming from the old-guard CIA, meaning Panetta, Brennan, Haines, Pompeo, Haspel and co.
Why would the old guard CIA defend Adam Schiff?
We know from recent document releases that Adam Schiff was promised the CIA Director job by Hillary Clinton, and that he did all the Russiagate leaks in the hope of deposing President Trump and getting that job.
Ken Dilanian and Adam Schiff, by Ken's own admission, go back years. Schiff leaked to Dilanian who placed Russiagate stories, Mueller, Fake Ukraine Impeachment etc.
So you can see old guard CIA at work to help one of theirs, Adam Schiff.
