Those on the SNAP benefits program will still get their November allotment retroactively paid once the program resumes. And I'd be shocked if the shutdown extended into December. So, at worst we're probably talking about a few weeks tops.
The only folks that should worry are those here illegally, but (shockingly) somehow on the Govt's food assistance teat.
I say that b/c I suspect that they're going to be sh*t outta luck sometime in the relatively near future when that gravy train comes to an end.
