As for his "weird antisemitism," what are you referring to, exactly? People have been throwing that word at Buchanan for decades but I've never seen an example of this alleged antisemitism. Pat Buchanan had some very good ideas and he shot himself in the foot with his weird antisemitism. Trump fixed this by adopting some of Buchanan’s populism while also being a good friend to Israel. This was a winning political formula, and it still is.
