Steve Deace @SteveDeaceShow
Last night’s elections results proved, again, that WORLDVIEW IS DESTINY. 3 lessons we have to learn:
1) Suburban voters reign in Virginia. The GOP used to be the suburban party before Trump. But in his three presidential elections we are +2, -10, -4 nationwide with suburban voters (as the GOP becomes more of a rural/non-college educated party). Republicans won VA in 10 straight presidential elections from 1968-2004. They have not won it since for three reasons. First, the massive influx of government workers to the state since Obama, which is unique to the area. But the next two are not: a generation of soft-headed preaching by suburban mega churches, along with an all-out Marxist indoctrination in our colleges and universities, has helped move the populations of these areas nationally culturally Left. Without a strong economic message/record to counter that, and we don’t have either right now, we are doomed in the suburbs. We’re just arguing the margins.
2) The Democrat Party has been completely made over into the image of its ideals. These Marxist/demonic/Islamist (but I repeat myself) ideals are no longer mere social media or cable news talking points to be memed or mocked on our side. They are the serious and true creeds we must defeat of the Democrat Party, which has whole hog embraced Mamdani. He is their next Obama/archetype. He is their base. It’s not the electrical worker union guy anymore. Every one of their national standard-bearers for the foreseeable future will openly and brazenly represent and run-on anti-American ideals with no spoonfuls of euphemisms to make the poison go down — 100 proof shots with no chasers. These are no longer mere rival political campaigns, but rival evangelistic missions.
3) Elections will therefore now become worldview steel cage matches. We are not going to significantly win outside our native bases of strength without the ability to boldly and clearly articulate the worldview differences between the two sides, because without that our MAGA/MAHA coalition doesn’t show up in the numbers we need. In fact, without these kinds of candidates we can now even lose statewide within our native bases of strength, where the rural areas are not inspired and we lose urban/suburbans so bad we cannot overcome. We have Dem governors in Kansas and Kentucky already, and I could see this happening in Iowa next year. No one gives a rip about the GOP as a brand. But then to win swing voters we are going to have to come up with some bolder and more effective economic messages and interventions besides we will manage Obamacare and deficit spending better — which seems to be our current one. For example, even our economic messaging must convene a different/better way of life than better widgets and payouts. Everything we are about now, even economically, has to speak to the soul. The Democrats have become so craven and humanistic we cannot defeat them on those (their) terms.
And the more we pussyfoot with mainstreaming retardation via the likes of Nick Fuentes and Candace Owens, the more we will sow division within our coalition/distract ourselves missionally/turn off normies who hate that crap/make it even harder our ourselves post-Trump to win. We’re never going to have him atop a ballot to carry us again. We can represent Charlie Kirk revival and win, or reactionary retardation and lose. Choose ye this day.
