Katie Daviscourt @KatieDaviscourt - BREAKING: DHS agents at the ICE facility in Portland notified protesters that a new policy regarding concealing identities behind facial coverings has gone into effect, starting today.
Wearing a mask on and/or near federal property is now prohibited, allowing federal agents to apprehend subjects on suspicion laws may be violated.

Kelly Loeffler @SBA_Kelly - It's National Veterans Small Business Week - and this year, SBA can't host its annual events to help veteran entrepreneurs access capital, contracting, and training.
The shutdown is punishing all Americans - but especially those who served our country.

Kristen Waggoner @KristenWaggoner - On Saturday, I’ll participate in a @FedSoc
debate, arguing that it is unconstitutional for schools to secretly “transition” children behind their parents’ backs.
Some have suggested that this question shouldn’t even be up for debate. And in a better world, it wouldn’t be. But we must confront the world not as it should be, but as it is.
The sad reality: this is an ongoing legal controversy in courts across America. @ADFLegal is litigating multiple heartbreaking cases—in MI, NY, MA, and even TX—where parents have been betrayed and children harmed by “secret transition” policies at school. We currently have a cert petition before SCOTUS on this issue (Foote v. Ludlow School Committee), and in December we’ll argue a similar case at the Second Circuit.
On Saturday, I’ll have the opportunity to debate a law professor who disagrees with ADF’s position. I’m grateful that the Federalist Society provides opportunities for the legal profession to confront opposing ideas, sharpen our arguments, equip our allies, and persuade the undecided—all with civility and good faith.
That’s what our free marketplace of ideas—and our judicial system—are all about. Engaging in those arenas is how we win.
