Kelly Loeffler @SBA_Kelly - In order to certify more “socially disadvantaged” small business contractors within the 8(a) Program, the Biden SBA diverted resources from VetCert - the program that approves veteran and service-disabled veteran small businesses for federal contracting.
At my direction, SBA restored full staffing and funding for VetCert - and, as of today, has successfully CLEARED the Biden-era backlog of over 2,700 veteran applications.
America’s veterans should never be displaced by DEI quotas. After being pushed to the back of the line, these heroes finally have the chance to compete in the federal marketplace - and in this Administration, they will be afforded the opportunities they have earned.
