He started the day at the Veterans Memorial at Rio Vista Community Park in Peoria, where he thanked his fellow veterans for their selfless service.
He next headed to join veterans and Glendale @MayorWeiers at the Sandy Coor VFW post in Glendale.
Then he joined veterans and their supporters like Glendale City Councilman Ray Malnar at the Thunderbird Senior Living Center in Glendale, where he presented veterans with Congressional Recognition certificates and challenge coins.
AZ-08 is filled to the brim with men and women who served this country, and the Congressman is thrilled to represent them.
