Salvation isn't our work. It's Christ's.
We bring nothing to the table when we are called, not one of our pitiful sublunary virtues buoys us in the baptismal pool. Thus we often struggle for a time as we become regenerate. I still struggle with intemperate speech and any number of other sins. My acknowledgement and repentance of it is the only capacity I am afforded to rise above.
God will not suffer mockery. And the blackest sin cannot survive exposure to his Word. You don't need to trust Blaire White to reform.
Trust the Lord to reform him.
