NCTC Director Joe Kent @NCTCKent - Yesterday, on the eve of Thanksgiving, two West Virginia National Guard heroes were critically wounded in a savage act of terrorism by radical Islamist Rahmanullah Lakanwal, an Afghan national brought here without proper vetting by the incompetent Biden administration during its disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal.
NCTC is working as a member of the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) in this investigation to uncover any foreign terrorist links and dismantle connections to radical organizations overseas. We will leave no stone unturned.
Under President Trump's standards, the terrorist who carried out this attack would never have been let in to our county. Thanks to @POTUS’s leadership, we have restored vetting standards.
