Senator Bill Hagerty @SenatorHagerty - As the day comes to an end, I am full of sorrow for the victims of today’s senseless shooting in Washington, DC. Our prayers will continue for them, their families and the men and women who continue to stand guard for our protection.
This week, I was honored to spend time with the National Guard members assigned to the Memphis Safe Task Force and am thinking of them and the hope they are providing to the community.
My appreciation for them, their families, and the sacrifices they make is even more in focus this evening. Pray for them all and thank them for the safety they provide.
