Sheri Biggs @RepSheriBiggs - Video: I joined American Sunrise on Real America’s Voice to respond to the video released by six Democrat Members of Congress. As someone who still wears the uniform and has taken the oath to defend this country more than once, I take issue with what they’re promoting.
I serve as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air National Guard and have acted as Medical Crew Director on five combat missions and three combat support missions in hostile environments. I’ve stood beside service members who risked everything to uphold their oath, not use it as a political prop.
In Congress, I swore the same oath again: to support and defend the Constitution. When Members of Congress use their platform to undermine our institutions, glorify unrest, or spread false narratives for political gain. They’re not just playing politics, they’re betraying that oath.
I’ve spent over three decades serving others: in the military, in health care, and now in Congress. I know what duty looks like. We are held to a higher standard. I’m disappointed these six members used their platforms for division, but unfortunately not surprised. I will always fight for principles over politics.
