Russian State of the Nation Address
Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered his annual state-of-the-nation address to the Federal Assembly in Moscow. He focused on key domestic issues facing Russia, such as the need to strengthen the economy and educational system, and advances in medicine and technology sectors. On foreign relations, President Putin told lawmakers that even though Russia gets "bad press," the nation is never looking for enemies, and he stressed that Russia's collaboration with the new U.S. Donald Trump administration was of interest to the entire world.
