I noticed on the patrols that I went on, there were absolutely zero members of the press. I asked the Army Public Affairs Officer what was up.
He told me that all of the journalists quit going out to see the war, they preferred to hang out at the Al-Rasheed Hotel, hang out at the bar or pool, and write their stories by watching the Al-Jazeera network.
