The Civil War: Discovering the Union Army Transport Ship Maple Leaf Wreckage - 1864.
Dr. Keith Holland, discoverer of the Maple Leaf and leader of its 1980s excavation, discussed the Union transport ship sunk in April 1864, during the latter part of the Civil War in Florida. The Amelia Island Museum of History in Fernandina Beach, Florida, hosted this event.
