Led by Christine and Mark Antal, Christine a former Army lawyer and Mark a former decorated Green Beret and member of Delta Force. They put Special Operations veterans back in the field together in a role that serves the global humanitarian community. Their veterans go beyond borders into the heart of dangerous conflict zones. They bring life saving supplies where resources are scarce and train civilians in Front Line Emergency Medicine.
This year their Christmas event was held at the Historic Fraunces Tavern. It is located in the lower financial district of Manhattan and is the oldest and most historic bar in the city. Before the American Revolution the building was the meeting place for the Sons of Liberty which started in Boston.
They were led by Samuel Adams and John Hancock who began the American Revolution against the British Crown. Their cry was “No taxation without representation.”
At that time New York City was loyal to the British Crown. Anyone caught meeting inside Fraunces Tavern would be hung outside for treason. This was a place where our nation was born as we approach our two hundred fiftieth anniversary.
