We reviewed the work of the U.S.–Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund, which is rapidly becoming an effective instrument for mobilizing American investment into Ukraine. The Fund’s investment adviser — Alvarez & Marsal — has now been appointed, and we move to the next decisive stage: identifying priority projects and turning commitments into tangible results.
We also focused on cooperation in the energy sector, including expanding Ukraine’s ability to purchase American LNG to meet domestic needs and strengthen Europe’s overall energy security. Energy independence remains both an economic necessity and a strategic shield.
I welcomed the latest U.S. sanctions against Russia’s key oil companies and their affiliates. These measures are effective and significantly reduce the revenues that fuel Russia’s war against Ukraine.
I expressed deep gratitude for the United States’ financial support, which directly reinforces Ukraine’s resilience and macro-financial stability. It remains essential to preserve the full spectrum of support instruments — including World Bank mechanisms — to secure approval of the new IMF program for 2026–2029 and accelerate implementation of the Reparations Loan mechanism.
We continue constructive, determined work with our American partners, guided by the shared commitment of the Presidents of Ukraine and the United States to securing a just and lasting peace.
