@SeattlePD homicide detective Alan Cruise testifies to the Court that he was given direct orders NOT to enter the CHAZ/CHOP zone following the shooting of Antonio Mays Jr.
Cruise said that the orders came from SPD assistant chief Thomas Mahaffey. Mahaffey was given orders from the city.
This confirms that SPD was prohibited from entering the zone.
